Numerical range and Poncelet property. (Q1432832)

This expository article gives an account of the recent developments on the Poncelet property for numerical ranges of the compressions of the shift~\(S(\phi)\). It can be considered as an updated and more advanced edition of the recent expository article published by \textit{P. Y. Wei} [Am. Math. Mon. 107, No. 6, 528--540 (2000; Zbl 0985.51016)]. The purpose of this paper is to update the previous account by providing a simplified approach and expanding the recent discoveries.
