Algebra of Calderón-Zygmund operators on spaces of homogeneous type. (Q1432844)

The Calderón-Zygmund operators \(T\) on \(\mathbb R^n\) form an algebra provided that \(T(1)=T^*(1)=0\). This is one of the outstanding assertions in this field of research. The authors introduce a respective class of Calderón-Zygmund operators on spaces of homogeneous type \((X,d, \mu)\). It is the main aim of this paper to prove that this class of Calderón-Zygmund operators \(T\), again with \(T(1)=T^*(1)=0\), is an algebra.
