The author presents a Fan-Browder type theorem on the coincidence for a single-valued map and a multimap in an \(H\)-space in the sense of \textit{C. D. Horvath} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 156, No. 2, 341--357 (1991; Zbl 0733.54011)]. An application to Nash equilibria in an abstract economy is given.
