During the last three decades new branches of science of interdisciplinary scope have been developed starting from the conceptual framework of theoretical physics. One of the most prominent examples is synergetics, defined as the theory of spatial, temporal and functional macrostructures of multicomponent systems. Since the human society can also be considered as a complex multicomponent system consisting of individuals interacting with themselves and with their material environmental it was a challenge to develop a strategy allowing of a general quantitative modelling procedure for collection dynamic macroprocesses in the socienty, too. Sociodynamics, of which the present paper gives a short introduction, is intended to tackle this ambitious program.
