This paper deals with the continuum theory of linear elasticity; more precisely, the authors consider a circular cylinder of linearly elastic material with cylindrically monoclinic material symmetry. The goal of the authors is to derive some general results and integrals of the governing equations that do not require the elastic stiffness coefficients to be constant or piecewise constant. Moreover, the authors consider the special cases in which the axis of cylinder is bent in the \((x,z)\) plane into quadratic, cubic and quartic curves respectively.
