    (1) Wenn die Begrenzungslinien zweier beliebig geformter Aperturblenden ganz auf derselben Kugel liegen, so ist die je Sekunde durch beide hindurchgehende Strahlung gegeben durch \[ R=I\frac{S_1S_2}{4\varrho^2} \] (\(S_1\), \(S_2\): Flächen der beiden Aperturen, \(\varrho\): Kugelradius, \(I\): die auf die erste Apertur fallende Normalintensität). -- (2) Die Strahlung einer diffus reflektierenden konkaven Oberfläche \(S\), die keine anderen Stellen dieser Oberfläche trifft, ist \[ 1-\frac S{4\pi\varrho^2} \] (\(\varrho\): Radius der Kugel, aus der die betrachtete Oberfläche ausgeschnitten sein soll).
