    Der Verf. zeigt durch ausführliche Rechnung, daß bei den \textit{Raman}linien nur kleine Sprünge der Schwingungsquantenzahl vorkommen können, weil sich die Zwischenübergänge, aus denen sich der betrachtete Übergang zusammensetzt, bei größeren Sprüngen wegen ihres Phasenzusammenhangs gegenseitig aufheben.
