Diese Arbeit bringt zwei Zusätze zu Teil III (Proceedings Cambridge 24 (1928), 426-437; F. d. M. 54, 966 (JFM 54.0966.*)-967): (1) Rekursionsformeln für die Funktionen \(G_l\), \(H_l\), durch die die Wellenfunktionen dargestellt werden können, für verschiedene ganzzahlige Werte von \(l\); (2) eine Methode zur direkten Berechnung der \textit{Ritz}schen Korrektion für den Quantendefekt in der optischen Termformel.
