Die Arbeit enthält eine Theorie des Torsionspendels mit plastischem Aufhängedraht von kreisförmigem Querschnitt; sie führt zu dem Ergebnis, daß\ die beobachtete Änderung des logarithmischen Dekrements mit der Amplitude durch die Annahme einer Fließgeschwindigkeit erklärt werden kann, die einer ungeraden Potenz der elastischen Spannung proportional ist.
