Die Verf. entwickeln eine mathematische Methode, um die Wirkung der Molekülrotation auf die Spinmultipletts (Energieniveaus und Intensitäten) zu berechnen, besonders für die Fälle, die zwischen den bisher betrachteten Grenzfällen der starken und schwachen Koppelung zwischen Spin und Impulsmoment um die Molekülachse liegen. Mit einer ähnlichen Methode wird auch die \(\sigma\)-Verdoppelung behandelt, die in der Aufspaltung der Terme mit positivem und negativem Impulsmoment \(\sigma\) infolge der Rotation besteht
