Die Tafel enthält auf 10 Dezimalen die numerischen Werte und Logarithmen der Nullstellen \(x_0^{(s)}\) bzw. \(x_1^{(s)}\) von \(J_0(x)\) bzw. \(J_1(x)\) nebst zugehörigen Werten für \(J_1(x_0^{(s)})\) und \(J_0(x_1^{(s)})\) für \(s=1, 2,\ldots, 150\). (Man war bisher bis \(s=40\) bzw. \(50\) gegangen.) Benutzt sind für die Nullstellen Stokes'sche Formeln, für die Funktionswerte die asymptotischen Darstellungen, aus denen sich hier die trigonometrischen Glieder leicht entfernen lassen. Die (als vermutlich neu) weiter aufgeführten expliziten Formeln zur Berechnung von \(J_n(x)\) aus \(J_0(x)\) und \(J_1(x)\) ergeben sich jedoch durch einfache Spezialisierung aus den allgemeinen Lommelschen Ausdrücken für die nach ihm benannten Polynome [\textit{E. Lommel}, Math. Ann. 4, 103--116 (1871; JFM 03.0221.04)]; siehe auch \textit{G. N. Watson} [A treatise on the theory of Bessel functions. Cambridge: University Press (1922; JFM 48.0412.02), 9.61].
