Verf. zeigt, daß im nichtparabolischen Fall ein linearer partieller Differentialausdruck zweiter Ordnung in \(n\) unabhängigen Variablen mit konstanten Koeffizienten durch Multiplikation mit einem Faktor der Form \(e^{{\textstyle\Sigma}\,\lambda_\nu x_\nu}\) (\(\lambda_\nu\) Konstante) selbstadjungiert gemacht werden kann.
