Verf. bildet aus \[ \varDelta =\left( \begin{matrix} (A_{mm})&(B_{mr})\\ (C_{rm}) &(O_{rr}) \end{matrix} \right) \] eine ``compound determinant'' \(S\), indem er \((A_{mm})\) auf alle möglichen Weisen mit \(k\) der übrigen Zeilen und Spalten von \(\varDelta \) rändert, und ebenso \(S'\) unter Benutzung von \(r - k\) Zeilen und Spalten. Er beweist dann eine Verallgemeinerung des Kroneckerschen Determinantensatzes. (II 4.)
