Es wird eine vollständige Liste der 62 irreduzibeln Typen von Kovarianten aufgestellt, die zum Komitantensystem von drei quaternären quadratischen Formen gehören. Der Begriff der Kovariante ist hier in engerem Sinne zu verstehen, insofern nur Variable \(x\) auftreten. Die Methode ist die übliche symbolische auf Grund von Überschiebungs- und Reduktionsprinzipien. Die reduzierenden Identitäten vereinigt eine besondere Tabelle.
