    In der vorstehend referierten Arbeit ist der Wellenwiderstand eines Schiffes mit unendlichem Tiefgang approximativ berechnet. Hier wird die Rechnung durchgeführt für den Fall, daß das Schiff dieselbe Gestalt hat, während der Tiefgang endlich ist. Es stellt sich heraus, daß die Interferenzwirkungen der vorderen und hinteren Wellen mit abnehmendem Tiefgang weniger ausgesprochen werden, aber daß die Maxima und Minima ungefähr an denselben Stellen auftreten.
