    In seinem Straßburger Vortrage bestimmte der Verf. sämtliche homogenen Polynome \(f(x_1, x_2, \dots, x_n) = f(x)\), die ein Multiplikationstheorem von der Gestalt \[ f(x) \, f(\xi) = f(\chi) \] haben, wobei \(\chi_1, \chi_2, \dots, \chi_n\) bilineare Formen von \(x_1, x_2, \dots, x_n; \;\xi_1, \xi_2, \dots, \xi_n\) sind. Er zeigt hier zunächst, daß man auf diese Aufgabe die andere zurückführen kann, sämtliche homogenen Polynome \(f\), \(\varPhi\), \(F\) zu ermitteln, für welche im Sinne der vorigen Bezeichnung \[ f(x)\, \varPhi(\xi) = F(\chi) \] gilt. Er untersucht dann den Fall \(n = 3\) (im Gegensatz zu dem angeführten Vortrage) mit lediglieh elementaren Hilfsmitteln.
