Systematische Entwicklung des Peanoschen Inhaltsbegriffes in einer Form, die die Invarianz gegenüber Bewegungen von vornherein erkennen läßt. Als Ausgangspunkt dient der elementare Satz: Es mögen \(\beta\) nicht übereinandergreifende Quadrate mit den Seiten \(b_1, b_2, \ldots, b_{\beta}\) von einem Quadrat mit der Seite \(a\) überdeckt werden. Dann ist \(a^2 \geqq \sum\limits_1^\beta b_r^2\).
