\textit{G. H. Hardy} und \textit{J. E. Littlewood} hatten 8 Jahre nach der Ankündigung in [Proc. 5th Int. Math. Congr. 1, 223--229 (1913; JFM 44.0237.01)] \[ \zeta(1 + ti) = o(\log t) \] noch nicht veröffentlicht; daher gibt Verf. den ersten Beweis bekannt; er erbringt ihn mittels seiner fruchtbaren Methode diophantischer Approximationen, die ihn sofort sogar zu \[ \zeta(1+ti) =O\left( \frac{\log t}{\log \log t}\right) \] führt.
