Anschließend an eine Arbeit von E. A. Hass (Monatshefte für Math. 24, 355; F. d. M. 44, 534 (JFM 44.0534.*), 1913) berechnet der Verf. die Ausdrücke \[ \sum_{m =1}^n P_N^M\left(\cos \frac{2m\pi}{n}\right), \sum_{m =1}^nP_N^M \left(\cos \frac{m\pi}{n}\right), \] wo \(P_N^M (x)\) die zugeordneten Funktionen bezeichnen.
