Die Eigenschaften der Kettenbrüche \(s_0-\frac{1\;\mid}{\mid s_1}- \frac{1\;\mid}{\mid s_2}-\cdots\), wobei \(s_0,s_1,s_2,\dots\) reelle ganze Zahlen sind, werden untersucht, indem die \(s_n\) auf eine spezielle Weise konstruiert werden. Es wird auch eine geometrische Interpretation gegeben.
