Es handelt sich um eine hypergeometrische Funktion \(W_{k,m}(x)\), deren asymptotischer Ausdruck \(e^{-\frac 12x}x^kT(x)\) ist, wobei \[ T(x)=1+\frac{m^2-(k-\frac 12)^2}{1!x}+\frac{\{m^2-(k-\frac 12)\}\{m^2-(k-\frac 32)^2\}}{2!x^2}+\cdots; \] diese Reihe ist darstellbar durch Ausdrücke von ähnlichem Typus wie \(W_{k,m}(x)\). Verschiedene Spezialfälle.
