``Der Verf. zeigt, daß\ für imaginäre analytische Kurven die Grenze des Verhältnisses des Bogens zur Sehne nicht die Einheit zu sein braucht. Die Grenze ist stets reell, und wenn sie nicht die Einheit ist, so ist sie höchstens gleich \(\frac {2}{3}\sqrt{2}=0,94\dots\). Ein davon verschiedenes Ergebnis wird für irreguläre (singuläre) Punkte erhalten. Eine Ausdehnung auf den Raum wird auch gemacht.'' ( Amer. M. S. Bull. (2 ) 20, 72-73.)
