    Das Hauptergebnis dieses Artikels ist ein Beweis des folgenden Satzes: Wenn das Integral \(\int_0^\infty f(x)\,dx\) summierbar ist, d. h. wenn \[ \lim_{x=\infty}\frac{r!}{x^r}\int_a^x\int_a^{a_1}\int_a^{a_2}\cdots \int_a ^{a_r}f(\theta)\,d\theta\,d\alpha_r\cdots d\alpha_2\,d\alpha_1 \] existiert, und wenn weiter \(f(x)/x^r\) gleichmäßig stetig in dem Intervalle \(x\geqq k\geqq0\) ist, dann ist \(\lim_{x=\infty}\frac{f(x)}{x^r}=0\). In dem Falle \(r=1\) kommt dieser Satz auf einen von \textit{C. N. Moore} zurück (F. d. M. 38, 300, 1907); doch ist die Bedingung in dem letzteren Satze, daß \(f(x)\) gleichmäßig konvergent sein muß, durch die weniger scharfe ersetzt, daß \(f(x)/x\) diese Eigenschaft haben muß.
