    Die dispergierenden Eigenschaften eines Mediums werden auf zwei Größen zurückgeführt, von denen die eine \(\varrho\) die Dichte bedeutet und die andere \(\sigma\) dem gegenseitigen Einfluß der Moleküle aufeinander entspricht. Es wird insbesondere untersucht und an der Erfahrung geprüft, wie die Änderungen der physikalischen Bedingungen, unter denen das Medium steht, auf die Größe \(\sigma\) einwirken.
