Es werden zwei Sätze von ähnlichem Charakter bewiesen. Der erste lautet: Wenn die Folge \(f_n(x)\) \((n = 1, 2, \dots)\) monoton wachsender Funktionen gegen die im ganzen Intervall \(a \leqq x \leqq b\) stetige Funktion \(f (x)\) konvergiert, so wächst \(f (x)\) monoton und ist im ganzen Intervall gleichmäßig stetig.
