    \(\alpha\) ist reell und positiv und \(a\) weder Null, noch eine negative ganze Zahl. \(a\) und \(\beta\) werden als reell vorausgesetzt. Es handelt sich um die Lage der Nullstellen mit sehr großem absoluten Betrag, ein Problem, mit dem sich der Verf. früher schon bei andern ganzen Funktionen beschäftigt hat (Lond. M. S. Proc.
