    In Nature 72, 198 beschreibt \textit{Hull} Versuche, durch welche er den Nachweis geführt zu haben meint, daß der Druck auf eine durchsichtige Scheibe gleich der Differenz in der Dichtigkeit der Energie vor und hinter der Scheibe ist. Dabei wird Bezug genommen auf einen Zwiespalt der Ansichten bezüglich der Drucktheorie in einem absorbierenden Medium. Die Note bezweckt eine theoretische Aufklärung dieses Umstandes.
