Die Funktion \[ E_\alpha(x) = 1 + \frac x{\Gamma(\alpha\cdot1+1)} + \frac{x^2}{\Gamma(\alpha\cdot2+1)} +\cdots+ \frac{x^\nu}{\Gamma(\alpha\cdot\nu+1)} +\cdots, \] welche der Verf. früher unter Voraussetzung eines reellen positiven \(\alpha\) betrachtet hatte, wird hier für den Fall eines komplexen \(\alpha\) untersucht.
