Es handelt sich um die von dem Verf. seit einem Jahrzehnt mit Vorliebe gepflegte Theorie und Anwendung der pseudo-elliptischen Integrale (vgl. F. d. M. 30, 403, 1899, JFM 30.0403.01; 32, 452-453, 1901, JFM 32.0452.05; 33, 464, 1902, JFM 33.0464.02), wobei jetzt auch Kieperts Arbeiten zur Transformationstheorie (Math. Ann.26, 32, 37) herangezogen werden. Die Anwendungen betreffen im besonderen Poinsots Herpolhodie, das Gyroskop, die sphärische Kettenlinie, die Segelfläche und die elastische Kurve bei gleichförmigem Normaldruck.
