Es wird eine Verallgemeinerung der \textit{Gauß}schen Formel \[ \textstyle 3 \iiint dx dy dz = \iint (x dy dz + y dz dx + z dx dy ) \] für den \(n\)-dimensionalen Raum entwickelt, aus der in einfacher weise das im Titel genannte Integral folgt.
