Verf. beweist das in der Überschrift genannte Theorem, welches damit gleichbedeutend ist, daß\ der Grad einer einfachen Permutationsgruppe zusammengesetzer ungerader Ordnung, falls eine solche existiert, notwendig wenigstens größer als 50 sein muß. (Vergl. auch \textit{W. Burnsides} Arbeit in London M. S. Proc. 33, 162-185; Referat oben S. 139, siehe JFM 32.0139.02).
