Der Verfasser modificirt sein früheres Urtheil dahin, dass Navier's Methode zwar strenger als die von Lagrange und Ohm sei, dass sie aber den Grundsätzen Cauchy's nicht gerecht werde, sofern sie bei Entwickelung der Limiten die Anwendung unendlicher Reihen nicht ausschliesse.
