Unter der Voraussetzung, dass die Gleichung \[ x^m + ax^{m-1} + bx^{m-2} + \cdots + g = 0 \] eine Wurzel von der Form \[ p_0 + p_1 \cdot R^{\frac 1 n} + p_2 R^{\frac 2 n} + \cdots + p_{n-1} R^{\frac {n-1}{n}} \] hat, wo \(n\) einer der Primfactoren von \(m\) ist, bestimmt der Verfasser die Werthe von \(R\) für die Gleichungen dritten und vierten Grades.
