The authors describe a construction of a simplified elastoplastic macroscopic model in the case of reinforced earth material. In the reviewer's opinion, the passage from microlevel to macrolevel, as well as the derivation of stress-strain relations remain unclear. Then the authors perform a numerical integration of the obtained equations in the case of perfect bonding between soil and reinforcement. The model is verified for a non-associated Mohr-Coulomb behaviour of the soil and Tresca criterion for the reinforcement.
