Under various boundary conditions, the authors analyse the antiplane deformation of a finite elastic wedge consisting of two different bonded edges. The solutions are obtained by finite Mellin transformations. The order of the leading term of the displacement field near the wedge apex can be determined from a transcendental equation which is evaluated for six different combinations of boundary conditions. The equation is shown to be identical with the equation for a bimaterial wedge with infinite radius. No numerical results are presented.
