The author gives a multidimensional generalization of a geometric method of approximation introduced by G. Humbert and developed by L. Ford. Here the approach is rather elegant, using hyperbolic reflection groups and Clifford algebras. The work complements some of the recent results of \textit{L. Ya. Vulakh} [see, e.g., Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 351, 2295-2323 (1999; Zbl 0924.11061)].
