The author presents several almost-sure results about the support of a super Brownian motion with a rather general branching mechanism (e.g. stable). The approach uses a construction of such measure-valued processes from Le Gall's Brownian snake via subordination [cf. \textit{J. Bertoin, J.-F. Le Gall} and \textit{Y. Le Jan}, Can. J. Math. 49, No. 1, 24-54 (1997; Zbl 0921.60078)]. Extensions to some stable superprocesses are also discussed.
