The author describes an iterative method for generalized inversion of a singular symmetric matrix \(A\). The theoretical convergence speed of this method is compared with the theoretical convergence speed of a similar method, which is used for the inversion of a nonsingular matrix. The effect of the round-off error on the results obtained by this method is analyzed.
