The author considers the diffusion equation, which can be derived, under the assumption of similarity of the temperature and concentration fields, from the equations that describe steady flame propagation in a multicomponent premixed gas. Exact solutions to the set of diffusion and heat equations describing the process of flame propagation are presented. An analytical representation of a combustion is obtained. Formulas for the flame-front velocity are derived.
