The author analyzes the solvability of an initial-boundary value problem for two-dimensional linearized dynamic equations for viscous exponentially stratified fluid in Boussinesq approximation. Existence and uniqueness theorems are established in the half-space. It is also shown that the problem is well-posed in special function spaces.
