    The authors apply statistical particle methods to the problem of turbulent wake. Two approaches are considered. The former is analogous to the direct Monte Carlo method in rarefied gas dynamics, and the latter is based on an analogy between turbulent fluid mixing and Brownian motion of fluid particles. Some numerical results are presented.
