The author gives a survey on implicit function theorems for multivalued maps in Banach spaces. The basic ingredients are ``geometric'' assumptions on the underlying space and accretivity hypotheses on the map with respect to one variable. A comparison with related implicit function theorems is given, as well as to nonlinear evolution equations.
