Refined results are given on the rate of convergence of general iterative methods for finding approximate solutions of nonlinear operator equations. The methods, which were proposed by the author earlier, generally don't require that the operators in the equations satisfy the standard regularity conditions, such as the invertibility condition for the derivative.
