From authors' summary: We consider the ifluence of a fluid-saturated layer on Rayleigh and Stoneley surface waves. A method is proposed in which the layer can be treated as infinitely thin in modeling fast compression waves and shear waves, and as a finite layer in modeling slow compression waves. We also analyze the variation of dispersion characteristics of Stoneley waves and pseudo-Rayleigh mode.
