The subject is a second-order accurate numerical method for calculating axisymmetric rarefied gas flows at low Knudsen numbers. Gas flow in cylindrical channels of circular cross-section are described by Krook's model kinetic equation. For sufficiently long channels, the authors construct simple limiting relations between the gas flow rate and the channel length and pressure difference.
