An analogue of the Kelley condition for optimal systems with aftereffect of neutral type (Q1571238)

In this paper the author extends the Kelley conditions on optimality to the systems with aftereffect of neutral type. It is well known that such systems have specific features that make the use of particular analytical methods difficult. For this reason, a more sophisticated approach is necessary for the analysis of such systems. The author uses a modified method of the variation transformation to analyze the optimality of singular controls. As a result, the optimality conditions of the equality type and the Kelley type are obtained.
