Unconstrained minimization of \(H\)-hyperdifferentiable functions (Q1571239)

A new class of functions has been introduced admitting inhomogeneous approximation. A necessary minimum condition is formulated, and descent directions for these functions are indicated in the case when the optimality condition is violated. A method is described for determining stationary points of the solution to the unconstrained minimization problem with a continuously \(H\)-hyperdifferentiable objective function. Nontrivial examples of functions from the introduced class are presented.
