Construction of curves by means of parametric polynomials (Q1571312)

This paper i devoted to the construction of curves with the help of parametric polynomials. A method is proposed for costructing planar curves for approximate parametric description of two-dimensional domains based on a given set of points located on their boundaries. The method is based on a special choice of conjugation points for a possible elimination of oscillations. The algorithm that implements the method can also be used for solving partial differential equations by finite-difference methods, and for solving variational problems with free boundaries.
