The author proposes an efficient method for solving time-independent problems of interaction between a boundary layer and external flow with periodic boundary conditions in the presence of reverse-flow regions. The method can also be used to find multiple solutions (when the solution is not unique). An algorithm is described, and examples of the construction of such solutions are given.
