This is a new collection of 15 brilliant short films concerning mainly attractive mathematical themes such as fractals, soap bubbles, geodesics, unstable detonation waves and many more: High professionality, interesting music and well chosen texts guarantee 1,5 hours of pleasant watching thanks to highly experienced directors/producers like Konrad Polthier and his group, Michele Emmer, John Sullivan, François Tisseyre, Thomas Gessner, et al. The films vary from 42 seconds to 24 minutes in length giving a broad choice for educational purposes. Like the 1998 ICM Berlin video festival (see Zbl 0909.00003) this 3ecm edition is highly recommended although the price may prevent a desirable wide distribution.
